Muse is an English rock band formed in 1994. The band consists of Matt Bellamy (lead vocals, guitar, keyboards), Chris Wolstenholme (bass guitar, backing vocals), and Dominic Howard (drums).Muse released their debut album, Showbiz, in 1999.. Their second album, Origin of Symmetry (2001), incorporated wider instrumentation and romantic classical influences and earned them a reputation for energetic live performances. Absolution (2003) saw further classical influence and in my humble opinion, one of the few perfect albums in rock history,Other amazing albums include, Black Holes and Revelations (2006),The Resistance (2009), The 2nd Law (2012), Drones (2015), Simulation Theory (2018)..I created this original caricature in 2017 on 10" x 14" Canson art board with, pen & ink and a slight wash.

Born and raised in Renton, Washington, Michael Hopkins grew up surrounded the beauty of the Pacific Northwest and aviation history. At an early age, Michael art was inspired by the likes of, Al Hirschfeld, Chuck Jones and Seattle Post Intelligencer Cartoonist, Bob McCausland and of course, aviation.
Michael’s credits his sense of humor and absurdity to Stan Laurel & Oliver Hardy and Seattle's own J.P. Patches. The humor he developed, combined with his mastery of caricature, has been bringing smiles to the faces of those who understood satirical humor and consternation to those on the receiving end of his biting satire. Michael has proven over and over again, that the pen is indeed mightier than the sword.
